Pumpkins galore – come along and see if last years 690.5kg monster can be beaten. This is a fun, family day with children’s (and dad’s) races, bouncey castles and that spectacular pumpkin down-hill roll.

If you haven’t grown your own pumpkin for the biggest, smallest or most beautiful categories , you can bring any pumpkin that is carved, made into a creation, baked into something delicious. More details on our website.

Categotries: Heaviest over 200kgs, heaviest under 200kgs, best named creation, best carved, most perfect pumpkin (any size), oddest shaped pumpkin (any size), best miniature (must be mature)

No need to have grown your own pumpkin to enter the best creation, best carved and the cooking as well as the down-hill roll

Classes: Open class, 12 years and under, Retirement villages and Schools

This is the sixth year for this annual fun, family day and keen growers from all over the top half of the North Island compete. Plus there are lots more cool entries from growers and creators of all ages. It’s great to have a go.
Come along and see how many of the magnificent giant pumpkins (over 200kgs) the growers manage to produce in this challenging growing season.
