Why do we still love the paper, the ink, the book?

Join our experts – Dr Sydney Shep, a practising letterpress printer, exhibiting book artist, print historian and designer bookbinder at Wai-te-ata Press at Victoria University, and Harry Ricketts, co-editor of the quarterly NZ Review of Books since 1998 and one of this country’s leading poets – to hear what is about the combination of paper, binding, printer’s ink and typeface choices that still excites them in this age of digital books and paperless reading.

Leading the conversation is art historian and book lover Penelope Jackson (who has, nevertheless, recently used an e-reader).

*TECT Earlybird offer ends 7 October
Day Passes - Entry to all writers sessions on day purchased
