NZ Blues Brothers Tribute show in Katikati on Saturday February 14th will be full of songs, costumes, jokes, lines and gimmicks from the movie. The Blues Brothers are 'On a Mission from God' when they take to the stage to entertain at the final concert of the 2015 Twilight Summer Concert Series. Pack your picnic and get down to the beautiful Haiku Reserve where you will be treated to an awesome evening of quality Blues entertainment.

The NZ Blues Brothers tribute show has a full professional stage presentation and is in demand in New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. This popular touring band have played at events such as The Vodafone Warriors, Devonport Wine and Food Festival, Kumeu Classic Car and Hot Rod Show, Ascension Wine Estate Matakana, Kumeu Wine and Food Festival, Whangarei Summer A and P Show, Taupo Red, White and Blues Festival, Americarna Festival New Plymouth, Burt Munro Challenge Invercargill, Hokitika Wild Food Festival, Waiheke Blues Festival, Riverhead Rhythm and Blues Festival with Midge Marsden, Festival of Lights New Plymouth.

Dean Heazlewood, on Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals and Harmonica is an accomplished solo artist and has played extensively here and overseas. Dean was guitarist with one of NZ'S Top bands of the 1980's, The Mockers, and has recorded and played with some of this country’s Top artists. Dean plays alongside Ivan Glucina, one of Auckland's most respected guitarists and vocalists with a career spanning almost 3 decades.

Tony Baird on Bass Guitar has backed top artists such as Tom Sharplin and has played with The Anzacs Mark Heke and The Ponsonby Express, The Boogiemen, Human Instinct, and numerous other top artists for 4 decades both here and overseas.

Steve Tree on Vocals Drums and Percussion has been involved in top Auckland covers bands since the Mid 80's Andrew Dixon on Saxophone, Vocals and Keyboards is an extremely talented musician who has toured the country as part of the Nairobi Trio and has played extensively with many top artists. Gary Morris on Lead Guitar and backing vocals also plays for Stingray, and has been playing professionally with Top Bands in the Auckland Blues scene including Mojovibe, and the Dukes for the last 15 years, so you can see there is going to be some real talent in town and a must see show.
Support Acts for this evening are 3 young Katikati College students who will each perform solo numbers. Harmony Robinson-Grant, Louie Campbell and Tenneille Davies are going to show you what talent we have in our young people. You can be assured of a great nights entertainment.
