Tatar born Russian pianist Halida Dinova studied at the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory with legendary pianist Anatol Ugorski, also at the Kazan State Conservatory with Natalia Fomina (a pupil of Neuhaus) and attended The Artist Diploma Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She participated in master classes of Paul Shenly, Anton Kuerti, Murray Perahia, Andre LaPlante and Rudolph Buchbinder, and she has been recognized as a prize winner at three International Piano Competitions.

Pianist Halida Dinova has performed and recorded with some of Europe’s finest orchestras. She has toured North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa—performing in the prestigious venues in London, Berlin, New York, St. Petersburg—and appearing in international festivals such as Orford (Canada), Edinburgh (Scotland), Europe- Asia, Mozart Festival (Russia), Festival International Sala Beethoven (Mexico), IPARK Festival of Contemporary Music (U.S.), Wonfurt International Chamber Music Festival (Germany), among others. Her repertoire ranges from Bach to Ligeti, but she is a passionate advocate of 20th century composers and the music of today.

Her new Solo Album “Music That Tells Stories” released in 2012 received excellent reviews from Music and Vision UK and Ms.Dinova is researching the music of Ernest Bloch at the Independent Researchers Program in St.Petersburg Conservatory. Teaching credentials include; Kazan State Conservatory (full time faculty for 4 years), University of Akron (part time), Cuyahoga College (8 years). Halida regularly teaches master classes in the US and abroad.

Halida Dinova has been a Steinway Artist since 1998 and is on the roster of pianists supported by Steinway Trust UK.
