The year is…the future. Earth’s done. It’s gone. We fucked it.

The only survivors are cast adrift in the Universe looking for a new home.

Cue: Planet Lowman. An Empire ruled by a monarchy obsessed with wealth.

Xandor, our extra-terrestrial environmentalist, stumbles across the humans. One human in particular, Cheryl, our no-nonsense kiwi heroine, catches Xandor’s eye.

Can an interstellar relationship last? Is it even possible? (Y’know what we mean.)

Up On Lowman is Grublette Production's third show created by Chelsea McEwan Millar and Elizabeth McMenamin. Join them while they duel-handedly bring to life the characters of both Earth and Lowman, with help behind the scenes from Emma Newborn, as part of the Auckland Fringe Festival 2015. Here are a couple of nice things that people had to say about the other shows they've made:

"...quirky concept and first-rate performances. - ...I simply didn't want it to end." - Nøughty Girls, Theatreview

"...these practitioners know exactly what type of theatre they’re presenting. There is no sense of pretentious art, it’s all for a good laugh, but they somehow manage an ironically touching epilogue to the main plot." - Zooquatic, Theatre Scenes

Pretty nice eh? So come along, it'll be super fun guys, promise.

Please note! (Sorry, didn't mean to yell, I'm not mad at you but this bit's important.)
Dates are not consecutive.

In the main space in The Basement Theatre. (Obviously.)
