This course will help you understand web accessibility and the techniques to make your web content accessible. Web accessibility enables people with disabilities to perceive, understand, navigate, interact with, and contribute to the web.

Web accessibility is a characteristic of a good website and with the proper knowledge and tools, is easy to implement. Most importantly, everyone - regardless of ability - can benefit from it.

This seminar will cover:
- A clear definition of web accessibility and a discussion of some of its benefits
- A demonstration of the most common assistive technology used by people with disabilities in accessing the Internet
- A detailed discussion of the most important techniques in making web content accessible.
- An explanation of techniques which anyone can do to identify accessibility issues in existing websites
- A run-down of good accessibility resources.

Audience and prerequisites:
This course is aimed at Project Managers and "Decision makers" of agencies
A basic understanding of the web (elements, controls, content types) is required.
