Rachel Hyde conducts the orchestra lead by Kathryn Maloney with a programme of:

Weber - Der Freishutz Overture
Brahms - Double Concerto in A Minor with Helene Pohl (violin) and Rolf Gjelsten (cello) of the New Zealand String Quartet
Brahms - Symphony No. 3 in F Major

Hear Brahms's titanic Double Concerto alongside his joyous and lyrical 3rd Symphony. The concert will kick off with Weber 's masterful overture Der Freischutz. This is a concert full of drama and lyricism, perfect to warm a music lover's heart on a late-summer's afternoon.

Tickets are also available at the door on the day of the concert (adults - $20; tertiary students, seniors, unwaged - $15; school students or younger - free)
