Dynomites Wellington Sport Climbing Club and Hangdog climbing gym are proud to host this regional one-day indoor climbing competition for climbers of all ages and levels.

There are five categories:
'Beginner' - max age 14, no minimum age, male and female categories, top rope only.
'Youth Intermediate' - max age 18, male and female, top rope only, grade 21 and below.
'Youth Advanced' - max age 18, male and female, lead climbers only, grade 20 and above.
'Open - no age limits, male and female, lead climbers only, grade 22 and above.
'Masters' - 35 and over, top rope only.

There will be spot prizes, food stall and great climbing on the day.

$20 early bird tickets until Wednesday 25 November, then $30 standard tickets.

Please note that the Youth Advanced and Open categories are for lead climbers. If at any stage any climber is deemed to be acting in an unsafe manner they may be removed from the competition.

DynoMites Incorporated is a climbing club for competition climbers in the Wellington region, New Zealand. The club was founded to encourage rock climbing, mountaineering and allied activities, with an emphasis on sport climbing. The club aims to assist members with preparation for and participation in sport climbing competitions, and general climbing related activities. Competition climbing is a great way to meet other climbers around New Zealand.

8.30 am doors open
9 am safety briefing and demonstration climbs for qualifier 1
9.30 am climbing starts - all grades – qualifier 1
11.00 am climbing starts - all grades - qualifier 2
12.30 pm lunch and spot prizes
1.00 pm climbing starts – beginners, youth intermediate and adult/masters - finals
2.15 pm climbing starts - youth advanced and open- final
3.30 pm prize giving and more spot prizes
4pm event ends
