After two very successful events in 2013 & 2014, the Whangarei Fritter Festival is back on Saturday 28 March 2015!

Come and enjoy a relaxed day with great music and a feast of fine wines and gourmet fritters from Whangarei and the region's finest local restaurants and wineries. Dave Dobbyn and his band will be headlining the Fritter Festival performing all his greatest hits joined by 1814 and Tahuna Breaks and supported by local acts Tempist Fujit and covers band JPG.

Soak up the music while you sample the wine and food of our district and have fun with plenty of great family entertainment including the return of the giant water slide, bouncy castle for the kids and other activities.

The top restaurants and cafes will also battle it out for the annual Best Fritter Trophy. Absolute Caterers took out the top award again in 2014 with their Pina Colada Fritter so everyone will be gunning for the top prize this time.

You have your say too and last year Absolute Caterers also won the New World People's Choice Award for the best fritter, so let's see who can knock them off their perch in 2015!

Brought to you by Venues and Events Whangarei, the Fritter Festival runs from 11am-7pm on Saturday 28 March 2015 at Toll Stadium.

Book your tickets in advance and save!
