Edible Backyard is open August 1, 2015 from 10am – 1pm for a winter explore.

$5.00 for a self guided tour.
$10.00 for self guided tour plus fruit tree talk.

Though the trees are bare and the potager is quiet; though most of the crops are below ground, or under cloches; though it will be cold – I thought you might like to come see. Food gardening is an all year affair after all.

So gather your favourite people and leave the world behind! Wander the orchard makeover, the berryhouse and the winter food gardens. Park up on the deck with cake and coffee or herbal tea (not included in the entry fee). Feel free to bring your own food – we are happy to see a thermos and muffin, if you take your rubbish home.

The fruit tree talk is at 11am in the orchard. We’ll talk pruning, training and getting your trees ready for the coming season.

Visit the smallest shop in the world to purchase Love Plant Life seeds, seedling trays, sawdust, and of course RokSolid.

I’ll post a weather report on my facebook page the morning of.
