Write for Your Life

Led by Sitara M Kooreman

“A word after a word after a word is power.” - Margaret Atwood

There are tricks and methods to circumnavigate your logic brain and turn writing into alchemy.

These will be shared and used during 'Write for your life', a day designed especially for those who:

- think they can't write, but would like to;
- want to use stimulating tricks to write with ease and joy;
- no longer wish to associate writing with boring work or school assignments;
- are convinced they can't write because they stink at spelling;
- feel they have writer's block and want to break out;
- like the idea of spending a whole day just hanging out with people getting into writing.

Members of the human species have been writing for over 5000 years and writing is a peaceful tool of magic. It has also been contaminated by the rules of puritans, but playfully applied, it returns to be a profound, meditative way to get to know yourself better and shape your destiny.

Maximum 11 participants
All necessary materials provided. In addition bring and use your own favourite tools for writing purposes if you wish.

Lunch to share provided, but if you wish to eat any food containing meat/fish/dairy/eggs or other animal-derived items, you will need to bring those along.
