Yoga and the Pleasure of Life

Led by Mary Maroulis

Join Mary for a day workshop with a focus of going deeper within yoga:
The day will include asana techniques and alignment, breathing easy, deep restorative relaxation and meditation within the Great Unity of Yoga.

Suitable for yoga students of all levels.

If you are new to yoga then you will receive a solid foundation to take up any yoga practice you may be considering.
More experienced practioners will deepen and broaden their current practice.
Whatever level of yoga you are working with, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into the many benefits of yoga beyond just the physical!

Wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat (though we will have mats if you don't).
Please bring food to share for a light lunch, tea and coffee provided.

About Mary:
I found it fun adopting yoga stretches and poses since being a young child and found a yoga practice has given me a stable platform while always pushing past limitations and the status quo.
My love of yoga has naturally evolved to teaching and offering it to others.

I have been taught meditation techniques through Self-Realization Fellowship, Asana principles and practice through Nicky Knoff and James Bryan, and most currently attend Te Aro Astanga Yoga in Wellington. I also attend Tushita Ashram as a student of Living Master, Sri YanchiJi.

I enjoy introducing yoga to a variety of people from beginners to more experienced practitioners who are developing their practice, exploring greater levels of relaxation, awareness and health.
Currently I teach a style of traditional vinyasa yoga (breath with movement aligned) at Gain Momentum Studio in the Wairarapa.
