Fraudsters continue to deceive collectors, both private and public, and in many ways developing technology has made this easier for those forging art.

An Empty Frame explores the different aspects of art crime; theft, vandalism and art fraud in New Zealand.

The exhibition features 30 artworks which all have at some stage been "victims" of an art crime and each is accompanied by its own particular story.
