For rising UK comedy star, Angela Barnes, they have become the focus of her latest show with hilarious results.

Angela Barnes had a career in health and social care. A perfectly good job but not one she was passionate about. In 2009 she tried stand-up comedy. In 2011 she won the BBC New Comedy Award and her new comedy career took off.

Since her breakout in 2011, Angela, and her witty world view, has been catapulted on to numerous radio and television shows including appearances on Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week as a weekly regular, on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Russell Kane’s Whistle Stop Tour (BBC Radio 2), and BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Loose Ends.

Following her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2014 Angela finally embraced her she was and returned to Edinburgh in 2015 with her current solo show to which you are cordially invited - just ‘Come As You Are’
