Inspired by popular rooftop events held in New York and throughout Europe, Anno Domini promises a purposefully curated yet relaxed event offering, mixing great music, food and drink in a stylish afternoon event series not seen before on the Auckland events calendar. Designed for the growing young cultured urban Auckland crowd, Anno Domini will deliver a social experience the city has been missing.

Held on the roof of the iconic Auckland Art Gallery across four Sundays throughout summer, Anno Domini will feature a line up of international DJs and producers alongside the best in Auckland’s eating with hand designed menus from Auckland’s top eateries Coco’s Cantina and the Bearded Clam and top quality cocktails from award winning bar Mea Culpa.

A Seekae DJ Set with fellow Australian Roland Tings (DJ Set) & local electronic star Race Banyon will make for a super special Valentines event on February 14th.

Anno Domini is proudly supported by Kronenbourg 1664, Angostura Rum, Broken Shed Vodka, Hendrick's Gin, Vintners, Red Bull, One Pure NZ and All Good Organics.

Over the past six years, Australian-English outfit ‘Seekae’ have won a hugely loyal following and a swag of awards for their signature blend of electronic pop, IDM, post-dubstep, post-rock, house and ambient. Their stunning debut The Sounds of Trees Falling On People was anointed one of the albums of the decade by FBi Radio; assured follow-up +Dome achieved Mojo Magazine’s Album of the Month in the UK and saw SEEKAE nominated for four Australian Independent Music Awards. The band then took +Dome on the road, touring Europe, Japan and North America, culminating in a sold-out Sydney Opera House show with an 8 piece-orchestra.

Roland Tings is Melbourne’s jack track anomaly with a penchant for acid coastlines and nebulous rhythms. Having toured Europe and his homeland extensively – Roland Tings supported Chet Faker’s sold-out Australia tour in early 2015, and has since filled dancefloors at festivals as diverse as Meredith Music Festival, Sydney Festival, Mona Foma and Listen Out.

Race Banyon is the electronic music production and performance alias of Wellington teenager Eddie Johnston. Since 2012 he has headlined sold-out shows throughout New Zealand, played alongside Rustie, Baauer, Ryan Hemsworth, oOoOO, Badbadnotgood and Kaytranada, and released his first EP Whatever Dreams Are Made Of. He has also played New Zealand’s biggest summer music festivals: Rhythm and Vines, Laneway, Camp a Low Hum and Splore. A favourite of student radio stations, music blogs and internet-savvy DJs across the globe, he has also created well-loved remixes for New Zealand bands The Phoenix Foundation, Doprah, Thomston, Janineand the Mixtape and Grayson Gilmour.
