APO Young Achievers 'Colours of the Wind' - Free in Aotea Square

We are thrilled to bring you a selection of Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra Young Achievers playing alongside experienced professional musicians, or emerging musicians from other universities during Summer in the Square.

These talented young individuals are all current students at the University of Auckland School of Music who aspire to be professional musicians. They perform regularly around Auckland at APO-related events.

The APO Inspire programme is a partnership with the University of Auckland School of Music and supported by the Freemasons Foundation which is aimed at nurturing young musicians aged 16–25 years to reach their potential. Inspire has a network of young performers, and these fresh new talents are the APO Young Achievers.

Monday 15 February
12.30pm – 1.15pm: 'Colours of the Wind'
An afternoon of romantic and impressionistic works on bassoon, clarinet and piano.
Rachel Song (piano)
Carol Wang (bassoon)
Nathaniel Smorti (clarinet)
