Change/Evolve, the debut album from Armed In Advance, is out now.

Armed In Advance are an incisive, direct and powerful culmination of guitars, drums and songwriting that delivers an uncompromising, vast rock sound that is straight to the point.

Hot off the back of releasing their debut full length album 'Change/Evolve', Armed In Advance are getting around the North Island to demonstrate their wares; starting with Wellington.

"AIA has mastered the “impact riff” and a lot of the tracks start like a house exploding, I find myself consistently surprised as I am repeatedly hit with an audio sledgehammer. The guitars are heavy, The bass is pounding, the drums are crisp and the vocals go from quiet and unassuming to vicious screaming." -

"Catchy vocal melodies and a scream that could make a lion jealous, guitar riffs which hit harder than Mike Tyson, a rhythm section that drives like a trucker on a six-day meth binge...” - NZ Musician magazine

“They are an act that blasts a set of loud grooves, big hits, rumbling tones and without fail has the audience jumping around, moshing, and singing along.” -

Curlys Jewels are an original rock band hailing from Wellington, New Zealand.

With one of the country’s most engaging female rock vocalists, Curlys Jewels are committed to unleash their trademark blend of high energy rock. Curlys Jewels have been relentlessly playing shows and festivals over the past few years developing into a slick a professional outfit. They have played festivals and performed alongside some of NZ’s best-established bands.

They are currently recording with top NZ rock producer Troy Kelly, at the brand new “The Armoury” Studios in Wellington. Their highly anticipated EP, drawn out of the success of their 2015 debut single “Terror in Disguise”, is due for release mid-2017. Curlys Jewels are primed to spread their live show tendrils and recordings throughout New Zealand and have fast become one of the hottest rock bands in Wellington.

Coridian is inspired by the distinctive alternative rock of Deftones, Incubus and Karnivool and they balance solid melodic bass, wavering groove rhythms and experimental heavy guitars together with soaring epic vocals. Each instrument is considered a lead with its own complex parts, and this includes the vocals - seen as the fourth instrument in their compositions. These layers combine to form a sound that is at times heavy, at times ambient, and sewn together by emotive lyrical themes.

Also joining the line-up are Wellington Metal/Rockers Bloodshot.
