The Arrowtown Arts Festival in association with Sign it Signs is held over 4 days in September and hosts a wide range of educate based workshops that inspire people to learn more about a variety of art forms on offer.

The variety available ranges from photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, patchwork and quilting through to singing, furniture restoration, flax and willow weaving. The festival also hosts a speaker series with Brian Turner interviewed by Grahame Sydney, Lisa Scott and John Lapsley interviewed by Garrick Tremain and wine and cheese afternoon with Graham Brinsley. There is a free Community Concert on the Saturday and an Artists Market on the Sunday.

The workshops are designed for beginners through to those wanting to learn new skills. The Arts Trail that takes you on a journey of local galleries with a stop over at Millbrook will help inspire you to learn and get creative come on a journey and meet some amazing artists.
