Hangi, star weaving for all, guided tours of the marae, face painting and music under a marquee in Mahara Place.

Music includes:
- 7pm Crimson Club - quirky experimental cabaret band whose eccentric multi-instrumental entertainment draws on many influences, from Edith Piaf to Laurie Anderson. Singing in French and English, they play a mixture of original tunes and irreverent covers.

- 7:45pm - Shayn Hurricane Wills plays up a storm of folk, country and blues music. "… the way Shayn plays guitar, harmonica and sings all at the same time astounds me." - Midge Marsden

Shayn has played support gigs for Albert King, Junior Wells, John Hammond Junior, Canned Heat and Duke Robillard, all of whom make him a musician of world class standard. But there is something about Shayn’s playing that is distinctly New Zealand: you could say he has created the term 'New Zealand Blues'.

- 8:30pm - Ryan Edward. Singer songwriter Ryan Edwards has returned from London, where he made a name for himself there and in Dublin acoustic circuits and launched his debut album, to the more laid back atmosphere of the Kapiti Coast. Here he teaches music and singing and has committed himself to supporting men’s mental health through his latest album Whirlwind. He has a new album The Cicada Sessions coming shortly.
