We’re putting science fiction and science fact head-to-head for one night only!

Watch the cult classic film When Worlds Collide in the planetarium and then, if the weather is clear, take a look at the real thing through the telescopes.

When scientists discover a distant planet is on a catastrophic collision course with Earth, the government refuses to believe the evidence. It’s now up to private citizens to finance and build a spaceship to carry a limited number of people and animals to another planet to being a new civilisation. Massive tidal waves, earthquakes, the impending destruction of our world and deciding who gets to live or die brings out the best and worst in people.

Please note this film is rated G – suitable for General Audiences. This is not a 360-degree show.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for shows. Late entry into the planetarium is not possible once the show has started.
