The Cape Sanctuary is the largest privately owned and funded wildlife restoration project of its kind in New Zealand.
Two trail options are available, either a 21km that climbs to 250 meters or a 16km route that is goes along the foothills. Both walks come back along the beach at low tide.
While this walk is listed as suitable for all ages it does require a moderate amount of fitness and therefore may not be suitable for children.
Lunch will be provided by Paella A GoGo and is included in the ticket price of $50.00. All funds raised will be going to Parkinson's Hawke's Bay to fund their Community Educator service.
