Where: Heritage Room

National Preservation Office paper conservator Vicki-Anne Heikell (Te Whānau-a-Apanui) will present a seminar to help you care for your own collections, whether they are kept in your home, marae, library, museum or archive. The presentation will include practical tips for caring for your treasured items, and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions. Using the ‘speed-dating’ format, participants who would like advice on the care, handling and storage of their treasured family items can get some one-on-one advice from Vicki-Anne.

This seminar is for representatives of marae, museums, galleries, libraries and archives, and members of the public who wish to learn more about caring for family or whānau photograph collections.
