Overview:

Successful completion of this Circuband training course will give qualified health fitness instructors, personal trainers, and customers the knowledge and skills to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate training methods which are suitable for group and one to one training.
You will have the skills and qualification to apply a safe and effective range of Circuband exercises to help you and your clients achieve their needs and goals.

Following successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Correctly set up the Circuband training equipment.
- Integrate and embrace the principles of Circuband training.
- Plan and design effective training programs for mixed fitness levels specific to the goals of the participants.
- Describe the benefits of Circuband training and explain why it is an efficient and effective training tool to enhance sports, strength and conditioning performance.

Eligibility:

The National Qualification in Circuband Training course is 3 hours long and is open to fitness professionals and members of the public who have an interest in learning about using Circuband. This course is worth 4 CPDs.

Syllabus:

The National Qualification in Circuband Training covers all relevant areas including:

- History and benefits of Circuband Training.
- Balance and stability benefits of Circuband training.
- How the Circuband system works and the various models in the market.
- Components of the Circuband training system including anchoring positions and guidelines for various band lengths.
- Principles of training and adjusting exercise intensity appropriately to meet the needs of clients.
- Functional Circuband training.
- Exercise programming including modifications and progressions
- Comprehensive list of exercises for the lower and upper body suitable for group classes and 1-2-1 training.
- Assessment.
