Orange Studios is pleased to be hosting the screening of Stephanie Beth’s documentary Sunday 29th May 2016.

US And The Game Industry delves into the anatomy of how a video game is conceived, developed and marketed, and features some of the rock stars of the independent game world.

This doco will appeal to anyone who is intrigued by games, who might wonder what their children and grandchildren are doing on their devices, who makes these complex games and what work goes into them?

The film highlights Jenova Chen who created Journey a winner of five game BAFTA Awards in 2013. Journey, for Play Station 3 and now Play Station 4 is a landmark game for it’s interactivity, it’s musical score and it’s game design dealings with ‘ journey of life themes’. In the film also are: Robin Hunicke, Jason Rohrer, Alexander Bruce, Douglas Wilson and Zach Gage.
