New Zealand's refugee quota has not grown in 29 years. Our population is up 42% since then and real GDP has more than doubled. In the first half of 2016 the government is reviewing the quota. It's time to make up for three decades of stagnation. It's time to Double The Quota.

Guest Speaker in Wellington: Rachel O'Connor from the Red Cross will discuss how people can get involved in helping refugee resettle in the region.
MC for Wellington: Raybon Kan.

Announcing a nationwide tour for #DoubleTheQuota. Starting February 22nd, we'll be traveling around New Zealand to speak about how you can help us to double the refugee quota. We'll be discussing the government's review process, what a range of activist groups are doing, going over the plans for Doing Our Bit's campaign and distributing the 'how can I help? booklet. It'd be lovely to see you and your community.
