It’s goals are to promote orchestral music by bringing a variety of music to as wide a range of audience as possible. It has a desire to nurture and present music of different ethnicities in an effort to promote multiculturalism and therefore enrich our society. By doing this it aims to fill a niche in the Auckland orchestral scene that is currently not filled by the other orchestral bodies in Auckland.
