This Month a Special Filmed Show! 'Cade' is a locally filmed movie about the secret life of Comedians and this month on the 22nd they will be filming part of 'Cade' at our Hard Cases show!

How exciting! Be part of the audience and maybe make your teeny tiny debut on the Silver Screen. See the Comedians perform their material and laugh along as expert MC for the night Neil Thornton guides us calmly through the chaos of an open mic comedy night.

Hard Cases is a weekly open mic, held downstairs at S&Ms, where local comics (and guests, when they're in town) come to test out new material, have a few drinks and just generally be hilarious.

Hard Cases is built on the idea of giving anyone and everyone a chance to jump up and give it a go.

Whether you've been performing for ages, or for the first time, if you're keen to participate, it's a 6:45pm sign up (first come, first dibs of set position) - max of 12 performers so get in quick! We've had superstars of comedy drop by to sets, you just never know what's going to happen at Hard Cases.

Set lengths are 5 minutes - you will get a light at 4 mins from our host to let you know you should be wrapping up shortly.

We have a different host up every night, sometimes from local Wellington Comics and sometimes special guests. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter to find out more information about who it is this week! 7pm is showtime!

When the show is all wrapped up, stick around and sing some karaoke with the comics to finish off a perfect Thursday.

Show is koha. If you had a good time, then let us know with a donation. Money goes to the Humorous Arts Trust, a group of comedy-loving individuals dedicated to helping new comics become great ones.
