We're delighted to announce a special addition to our Shakespeare in Conversation free public panel discussion series.

Join two experts for a lively discussion exploring Shakespeare's masterpiece Twelfth Night. Professor Judith Buchanan of York University, England, will be in conversation with Dr Miles Gregory, Artistic Director of Pop-up Globe and director of the Pop-up Globe Theatre Co.'s critically-acclaimed production of Twelfth Night.

Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare's finest plays in performance. Yet it has nothing to do with Twelfth Night, is surprisingly rude, and may in fact have originally been called 'What You Will'. In this Shakespeare in Conversation discussion we'll delve into the history of the play in performance, the oddities of the text, and step inside the director's mind as he discusses the vision behind the Pop-up Globe's widely-praised production.

Shakespeare in Conversation: Twelfth Night will be held in the yard of the Pop-up Globe theatre itself. Seats will be provided.

This event is free and non-ticketed. Capacity is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure your seat.
