In the words of Jean-Luc Godard, “cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world” - so what better way to explore the motivations and consequences of fraud than on the big screen, as a finale to Fraud Awareness Week 2016.

Launched for the first time in the Netherlands in 2014, the New Zealand International Fraud Film Festival will deliver two full days of thought-provoking films and stimulating live discussions.

With a programme packed with documentaries that offer real-life perspectives on fraud, the adage that truth is stranger than fiction will ring true. The unregulated wild west of the internet will be explored. And the way our passion for sporting heroism, cinema, fine wine - and even tickling - can be turned against us demonstrated.

The programme on Friday 18th November is by invite only, so please apply for tickets via our Contact Us page.

The programme on Saturday 19th November is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased from Q Theatre.
