Glass Casting for beginners and newbies to glass casting. Ever been curious to learn something news, that gives immense pleasure once you have made your own piece of artwork in glass.

This course will cover facets of glass casting using wax, clay and some sculpting/modelling. Objects made are limited to up to 1kg of Gaffer Lead Crystal and materials. They will be small castings so be prepared to learn and take everything in so that you can go bigger one day with your casts. $300.00

This workshop allows for firing of 1 piece. If the piece is too big for the small kiln, the mould can be steamed out and left in the studio until it can be fired All work fired is then collected by you one week later and you will be shown how to divest your cast and we will cover basic cold working techniques.

Spaces in the workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 people only. If you have a group of friends (say, 3-4 friends) whom you would like to share a workshop weekend with, group discounts will apply. You can contact Susan for more information on these costs.
