Back by public demand for one night only with his acclaimed solo show from the 2016 NZ International Comedy Festival.

With the world in such turmoil recently, only one comedian is standing up and saying, “What a stink buzz!”

Join Jamaine Ross in his newest hour of stand-up, where he explores all the bad in the world (racism, homophobia, ISIS) and the good (adult colouring-in books that’s pretty much it), all centred around a chance encounter with NZ Prime Minister John Key.

With a likeable and laidback style, Jamaine’s engaging storytelling and keen observations on everyday life will have you laughing your face off, while leaving you with a few things to think about.
Jamaine Ross is quickly establishing himself as a mainstay on the New Zealand comedy circuit.

He's a regular on TV3's 7 Days, has appeared on TV3's After Hours, featured on Maori TV's satirical comedy show, Brown Eye, and has made cameo appearances on TV3's Jono and Ben and Funny Girls.

His stand-up comedy achievements include winning the Raw Comedy Quest in 2012, opening for Tenacious D on their New Zealand tour in 2013, and being nominated for the prestigious Billy T Award in 2014

On top of all of that, he spends his days as a writer on TV3's Jono and Ben, records a weekly comedy podcast with his comedian friends called The Issues Podcast, and is one third of sketch comedy trio, Frickin Dangerous Bro.

He's basically a super busy and talented dude who brings a whole lot to the table when he's on stage.

"Hilariously funny very intelligent and accessible.” - Chelsea Hughes, The Ruminator.

"Probably the most charming man in New Zealand comedy." - Courteney Peters, Gather & Hunt.

"I’ve known this guy for 30 years. Actually, he’s my son." - Jack Black, International Comedy Superstar.

$20 or combo with Pax Assadi at 7pm and pay only $32 for both shows.
