"...and these children that you spit on, as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations. They're
quite aware of what they're going through... " - David Bowie"

Comedy Grapevine is back and kicking for 2016, and we've decided we needed our own John Hughes cast of comedians to shake things up a bit.

Jeremy Elwood has been touring round NZ with his hit stage show "Success" in between shooting TV3's 7 Days - We didn't have the budget to get him his own private dressing room for the show but we did buy him a rather nice ceramic mug.
Jeremy has performed all around the world including Australia, Scotland, England, Canada and America and now he's adding the big apple - Takapuna - to the list.

We found Cohen Holloway on set from What We Do In The Shadows, causing trouble on Auckland Daze and touring around NZ headlining to sellout crowds with his cheeky style of stand up comedy, perfect to team up with Jeremy and MC the evening.
He asked us to mention "Werewolves not Swearwolves." - whatever that means.

So we've got the heroic lead and the cheeky best friend - What does every cast need? - The good looking jock of course.

We're stoked to have New Zealand's own Zac Efron - Rhys Mathewson. Rhys won the famed Billy T Comedy Award in 2010 and became a regular panelist on TV1's Best Bits and since climbing the ranks of NZ comedy has grown a rather nice mustache.
Well played Rhys.

Raising an eyebrow to their shenanigans- A first timer to Comedy Grapevine is the hilarious James Keating. - James was a Billy T Nominee and is one to watch on the comedy circuit, with his quick witted one liners will absolutely be dancing to David Bowie's Modern Love in the greenroom.

We've even branched out a got a magician! Logan Kitney, whom you'll know from Ben Hurleys "Next Big Things" and from his successful solo show "Why I'm Not A TV Magician" in the 2015 NZ International Comedy Festival.
He's like just like Copperfield! - Except for the spelling

Come along for a night of laughs and check out the awesome food and drink specials at Hurstmere Brewbar on the night! Doors open from 7pm.
