You may have seen Jocee Tuck (Josie Robertson) at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards this year where she performed a Tami Neilson's song, "The First Man."

She won the Auckland University Songwriter of the Year 2009 and released her album "Mt Dora" earlier this year.

NZ Musician wrote "Jocee Tuck’s sweet, light voice is approachable and kind, reminiscent of Ingrid Michaelson or Regina Spektor. There’s a myriad of instruments on her debut. Vibraphone, xylophone, piano, acoustic guitar, ukulele, glockenspiel and percussion are all performed by Tuck herself, with everything from banjo to trombone from others. The songs are well ordered, with reflective track Black Heart-breaking up the playful percussion heavily used throughout the rest of the album."

The Low Low give their influences as Kate Bush, Broadcast, Vashti Bunyan, Bic Runga, Cat Power. Listen to a track on Bandcamp.
