Leila Adu

"Her velvety, soulful voice might be the first thing that strikes you, but the smart instrumental flourishes give Leila away as a composer of striking originality."
-- WNYC

"fluctuating between pop, weird jazz, dark lyrics and brainy experimentation at times reminiscent of Brian Eno's early records."
-- NYC Deli

"She's an artist of the world, a citizen of the world, a musician for the world. And I wonder if we really know that she's a New Zealander, one of the great talents from this country. It's worth being told, reminded."
-- Simon Sweetman, Stuff NZ

"The psychedelic rock track is all about universal love, and the inherently spiritual love that we share with humanity, the Earth, and the cosmos."
