What else would you rather do on a lazy Wednesday night?
Let the cares of the world melt away while your been entertained by some of NZ's favourite stand-up comedians while perhaps knocking the froth off a couple.. or wine.. wines nice too!

This ensemble of talented rag tags are gonna bring some serious laughter to east Auckland that you won't want to miss... besides what else ya gonna do?

Here's the troop:

Jamie Bowen: (Headliner)
Jamie Bowen has been a fixture on the NZ comedy scene for over 15 years. He’s performed in over a dozen New Zealand International Comedy Festivals and appeared all over our TV on shows such as 7Days, The Comedy Gala, AotearoHa, After Hours, WannaBen, Jono’s New Show, Big Comedy Jam and more. He co-wrote Sunny Skies for TV3 and was also one of the creators and writers for A Night At The Classic for TVNZ.

Alan McElroy:
After temporarily paralysing his mother during childbirth with his unusually large cranium, Dubliner Alan McElroy dragged his heavy noggin around, accumulating scratches and scrapes from the ground and the carpet burn from the never ending sand paper like floor covering that devoured Ireland in the 1980s. As the Old Country moved into the 90s, so did the floor covering material. Heavily influenced by home decorating television shows, the wooden floors had Alan looking like a shunned, unkempt hedgehog because of the countless splinters stuck in his head.

It took 28 years before Alan grew into his own mallet-of-head and was finally able to leave Ireland and fly to New Zealand, without being forced to pay a large extra baggage fee.

Now he regularly performs on the Auckland scene to laughter, laughter!

Gish:
Justin Hansen, better known as GISH, is one of the most popular comedians on the NZ ProComedy Circuit. With a wicked combination of original and popular song parodies and a healthy toke of comedy for the bro's, GISH is a favourite headliner throughout New Zealand.
GISH has turned his songwriting talents to comedy providing a unique alternative amongst his fellow stand-up comedians; for which he has been a previous Billy T Comedy Award nominee in 2006. He has also featured on "Pulp Comedy" and TV3's comedy special, "AotearoHA".
Classic GISH hits include: "Stink Bro" "The Joint" "Bugger!" and several parodies ranging from The Eagle's hit "Hotel California" to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn".

A Kiwi classic, GISH can often be seen on tour around New Zealand and Australia.

David McCartney: (Host)
Criminal charm with a self-deprecating posture McCartney’s contagiously charismatic personality will whisk you down his memory lane of which you never asked to go ….and there’s no coming back.
Within his first 10-months, he made his way to the Grand Final for the 2015 Raw Quest as well as acquiring a nomination for “Best Newcomer” from the NZ Comedy Guild.
In 2016 as a part of the NZ International Comedy Festival, he was selected to be a part of “The Next Big Things” hosted by Ben Hurley and he’s only getting betterish….
