What is Hawaiian LomiLomi?

Hawaiian Lomilomi (otherwise known as Kahuna massage) is no ordinary massage; it is a merging of body, mind and spirit and is traditionally performed to honour the body as a temple of the soul.

The massage seeks to rid the body of physical and mental stresses, and free up the energy flow. This is done with a combination of prayers, breathing techniques and intuitive long flowing massage strokes, flowing hula, tai-chi style dance movements and incorporating the huna breath.

The journey into learning this healing modality is not just about learning a new technique. It is a gift to anyone wishing to further their own self development and self healing. You will learn many of the secret Huna techniques and tools and the opportunity to truly experience them.

Student Feedback

Attending last years Lomi Lomi course with 'That's Better' was quite a change in my vocational direction. I didn’t know if I would fit in beforehand, but talking with Lynda by phone put me very at ease that I would with, whatever the makeup of the group, (whatever backgrounds, experience or faith convictions we held). Lynda’s style was easy going, and flowed intuitively with the needs of the group. I left with a confident ability in the training I received. Thank you Lynda, for all you shared with me.
