"Why can’t I find them?" is a common question when looking at family research for those born in Ireland. Join Maureen West from Central Research at Auckland Libraries as she looks at newly available records, under-utilised records and techniques for breaking through some of the genealogical research barriers associated with locating Irish records.

Maureen is a genealogical researcher and teacher who specialises in English, Irish, and New Zealand research. She has a particular interest in the history of prisoners of war during the Second World War.
