Mark Moroney is flying in from Australia's Sunshine Coast for one show only, teaming up with New Zealander David Shanhun, for a night of soulful acoustic tunes.

Acclaimed entertainer, Darren Percival has called Mark ‘Australia’s luminous songwriter’ and Mark’s voice is regularly referred to as ‘huskiness and honey’ with his original music recognised as ‘a balm’. His debut ‘The Platform’ was released in 2006, and two years later he graduated from The Queensland Conservatorium with a bachelor of music, before releasing 'Walking Through Walls' in 2013 to critical acclaim (and two songwriting nominations for 'Best Song' for 'Baby Bird' and 'Stranger').

2016 saw Mark release his new E.P. 'Chasing Fairytales' packed with Mark's soulful voice and moving tracks such as 'Paper Planes', 'Heavy Hearts', and the single 'This Dream'.

David Shanhun released his album 'Life Is Better With You' in 2015, including the #2 iTunes Country Chart single 'I Believe In You', and is currently recording towards his next album - a stripped back acoustic session album due for release early 2017. He has opened shows for Australian X-Factor runner-up Dean Ray, as well as rock legends Heart, Foreigner, and Three Dog Night. He has also invited to perform ed with grammy award winner Bryan White when he toured New Zealand. David's songs are a mixture of folk, singer/songwriter, and alt-country tunes.

There will be some special guests on the night, including local artists, and those that saw Mark and David on Tour in 2013 will know they are in for a treat night of fun and exceptional guitar work and vocals. Opening the show will be the talented Jacob O'Callaghan. For more information please visit the websites listed above.
