Now joined by acoustic duo "The Native Poms".

Four local Tauranga bands, four completely different styles, four hours of awesome original music.

A showcase performance from three outstanding bands and a duo, this is a show not to be missed. These headline quality acts are mashing their styles together for one unique live show at the soon to be iconic Totara Street in Mount Maunganui.

The Native Poms are Jonny Baird and Tara Watson, Mount locals who are well known and loved. In hot demand in bars and venues around Tauranga for their individual take on covers, this will be an opportunity not to be missed to hear their original material.

Direct Descendants is a four piece band that play sweet original Aotearoa reggae. They started writing and performing under the name "6TB" (six to the band) about five years ago. With new members, a new name, new direction and management Direct Descendants are excited to bring their flavour of reggae to New Zealand and the World.

Sidewalk Empire is a six piece group, heavy on rhythm, producing soul based music ranging from folk to funk sounds and tied together with a solid groove. Also under new members and new management, Sidewalk Empire are firing on all cylinders and excited to be re-emerging from a hiatus.

The Eternal Sea are a three piece melodic heavy rock band and the brainchild of songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Mark Wright, with a recently released, self-titled, debut album under their belt. Their unique brand of stomping heavy rock combined with epic soaring melody means they have a broad appeal.

All bands are recording and filming this show for use in music videos, so here's a unique chance to be immortalised on film.

Door open 7.30pm. Totara Street is a licenced venue with two bars operating on the night, no BYO. Mezzanine floor viewing is on a first in, first served basis.
