In the fast pace of our work and personal lives our attention is easily scattered and our mind cluttered with endless distractions.

By developing mindfulness and training in meditation we will be able to eradicate all our negative states of mind and enjoy a peaceful and happy mind all the time. Our mind will become clear and less distracted, and our memory will improve. These are just a few of the many benefits of training in mindfulness.

On this day course, Gen Kelsang Pagma will explain the nature, function, and mechanics of meditation and she will guide meditations to highlight and train in mindfulness.

The Teacher:
Gen Kelsang Pagma is a modern Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at Bodh Gaya Buddhist Centre. Her heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humour that make them accessible to everyone.
