Join two of New Zealand’s top landscape photographers; Richard Young and Rob Brown, on a 4- day autumn colors and landscape photography workshop in the stunning location of Mt Cook National Park.

6th-9th May 2016

On this workshop you will spend 4 days photographing in the awe -inspiring location of Mt Cook National Park with both Richard Young and landscape photographer Rob Brown (depending on numbers). We have set the date of this workshop to hopefully capture the perfect autumn colors around Mt Cook as well as the amazing alpine scenery of New Zealand’s highest peak. Over the workshop you will learn to shoot a diverse range of subject matters including; autumn landscapes, mountains, glaciers, macro and nature photography and the night’s sky. You will have the chance to shoot from sunrise to sunset, in a variety of locations in and around the park, from views of Mt Cook from the Hooker and Tasman Valleys to the autumn colors around Lake Pukaki. During our time at Mt Cook you will also have the chance (at additional cost) to explore the terminal moraine lake of the Tasman Glacier by boat, with fantastic photographic opportunities as we navigate between huge dripping ice-faces and iceberg formations. Mt Cook has amazing clear skies with no light pollution, offering the chance to photograph the Milky Way above the Southern Alps.
