The NZAGE Board and Committee are pleased to announce the NZAGE Summit 2016 – Selecting Superstars!

Wading through applications for outstanding candidates can sometimes feel like you're searching for a needle in a haystack. In striving to increase application numbers to our programmes, we make the haystack even bigger! The 2016 NZAGE Summit theme will focus on how to ensure your selection process is efficient, effective and measurable.

This year we are changing things up, and hosting the Awards Dinner the evening prior to the Summit. The evening celebrates best practice in recruitment, selection and development of graduate talent, and award industry excellence.

We've also taken your feedback on board for more content at the Summit that is targeted to your Learning and Development and Human Resources teams, who play a crucial role in developing graduate talent. Our 2016 Summit will deliver multiple break-out sessions catering to your interests in;

Attraction:
To help you design and execute a marketing plan that attracts the best candidates to your organisation. We'll also investigate internship programme best practice to help you build or improve your current internship or cadetship offerings.

Selection:
Gather key insights to enable you to review your selection process in terms of selection tools, psychometric testing options and on boarding strategies.

Graduate Development:
To rotate or not to rotate? How to structure your graduate development programme to ensure the best fit for your business.

Retaining Talent:
With the allure of overseas experience taking many of our best graduates off-shore, what are some strategies to retain your top talent for longer?

This year there will be prizes awarded to early-bird ticket purchasers – for those of you located in Auckland, a day exploring Mudbrick’s vineyards is up for grabs! There will be an equivalent offer for our out-of-Auckland members also, details to come.

The Award dinner tickets include food and beverages.

"The NZAGE is excited to be hosting its fifth annual Summit – this is a massive achievement and reflects our strong commitment to the education and continuing development of the graduate space in New Zealand.” - Tim Watts (Chairperson NZAGE)
