Join us on Easter Sunday at Nga Manu Nature Reserve for a fun family day out. FREE Admission for children. Take part in the Easter Bunny Hunt - the Easter Bunny will be hiding in the Reserve and the lucky child who finds him first will win a giant Belgian chocolate bunny. We shall be releasing one clue every hour until he is found! Nga Manu provides the perfect venue for your Easter egg hunt - bring your own or buy an egg for $1 in our Visitors Centre (limited numbers available).

Afterwards you can explore the reserve at your leisure - bring a picnic and enjoy some quality family time. See the iconic New Zealand kiwi in the nocturnal house and meet native birds in the walk through aviaries. Feed the endangered long fin eels at 2 pm, spot frogs and native lizards and get up close to tuatara. Explore Kapiti’s largest remnant of coastal lowland swamp forest and idyllic bird sanctuary. Over 50 different bird species come and go around the wetlands, bush and surroundings.

Find us on Facebook and Tripadvisor.

Please note that the free admission for children on Easter Sunday is for those aged 3 - 14 years and that 3 children can get in for free with one paying adult ($18.00 per adult).
