Direct from Brisbane Australia to Kerikeri Aotearoa, Paua are coming back home!

Paua will take you to that place via Reggae fusion, soulful R&B urges, incognito jazz spills, 808 ends, with melodic transitions through dynamic horn blasts, and harmonic vocals that's what makes everything beautiful about this band.

Creating chemistry between music and their audience Paua replicate their stage shows the same way their music echoes through their self-titled debut album released in 2011.

They say ‘the two most powerful warriors are time and patience’ and with that said Paua have set the pathway for the release of their second album this Summer that will take you as the listener through a journey beyond what you already know.

The Paua heritage of Aotearoa (New Zealand) expands into a collective of worldwide musicians with the same love for Reggae music, all residing in Brisbane, Australia and having toured New Zealand and Australian shores with numerous invitations to go abroad, Jay says ‘we are extending our message to the world’.

Having shared the stage on proclaimed festivals such as ‘One Love Festival’, & ‘East Coast Vibes’ alongside reggae giants ‘Julian Marley’, ‘The Green’ ‘Katchafire’, ‘Herbs’ & ‘1814’ to name a few, Paua are forever enlightening the masses.

Energy fuelled the collective, and in 2013 they released their pumping single ‘Feel the Fire’, continuing into the cruisy single ‘Crazy Bout You’ in 2014.

Paua followed up with the Aug release of their own version to the REM classic ‘Losing My Religion’ which went straight to #1 on both the Australian and New Zealand iTunes Reggae Charts, with mainstream and regional radio play in the South Pacific.

Paua were very honoured to receive two nominations at the 2012 Waiata Maori Music Awards - 'Best Song by a Maori Artist' and 'Best Urban Roots Album'. Jay - Lead Singer/Songwriter also received an individual nomination in the category of 'Best Maori Songwriter'.

In 2015 their new single ‘What’s it Gonna Take’ released Nov 1st in lead up to their sophomore album, featuring 12 stellar tracks with the urge to push this sound onto the global stages.

This album has soul, this album has sway, this album has been nurtured to bring Paua to The People!
