Welcome to Hāti Nāti Licensed Cafe situated in the heart of Ngati Porou beneath the mountain/maunga Hikurangi and alongside the river/awa Waiapu in Ruatoria.

Hāti Nāti Licensed Cafe Quiz Night has the usual categories of General Knowledge/Kaupapa, Food/Kai, NZ Sports/Hakinakina Aotearoa, Television/Whakaata, Music/Waiata, Flags of the World/Ngā Haki o te Ao, Celebrities/Ngā Tangata Rongonui, Acting it Out!/Whakaatu Atu!, and finally a little twist the last category Hāti Nāti/Ngati Porou.

Our Quiz Masters will be David or Te Rau Kupenga. The maximum number per team is 6 and these teams can be arranged on the evening of the event.

Our start time is always on a Friday from 7pm to 10pm on one of the following dates; 28th October 2016, 11th November 2016, 16th December 2016, and just before Christmas day on the 23rd of December 2016.

You may choose from one each of the following we are offering on our menu; Entree $15, Dinner $25 and Dessert $15 or maybe a Bread or Cheese Platter for 4 at $20. Please phone in advance to find out which of the following menu combination is being served that evening.

Entree: Pumpkin Soup, Prawn Cocktail or Seafood Chowder
Dinner: Crumbed Chicken, Pork Belly or Roast Beef
Dessert: Banoffee Pie, Lemon Slice, Sticky Date or Bread Pudding

Both Beer and Wine will be available. Please ring ahead to check if we stock you preference or to ensure we are able to carry it for the evening. We will need a weeks notice as our rurality requires travelling stock in.
