Welcome to the Advance Wellness Running Workshop

This is an interactive workshop based around Running Technique.
The goal of this workshop is no matter what version of Running you are doing your body has the potential to improve energy efficiency, reduce injury risk and advance your goals.

This workshop will cover the basics of running regarding a breakdown of muscle use, posture, joint positions, and recruitment.

We will go through warm up/ cool down, body care and being conscious of injury risk. Each person will have a basic analysis of their running and ‘step 1 cues’ on how to improve. We will be focusing on deep core stability, pelvic support, and power muscle activation through technique.

The aim of this 3 hr workshop is to activate your running specific muscles, both the power muscles and the postural stability muscles. By warming them up in their appropriate manner, the brain is engaged and acutely aware of how we want them to be used. Allowing your run to involve all the right muscles, working together and reducing muscle overloading. This program trains the brain to be more deeply conscious to your posture, technique and muscle recruitment. Therefore, getting your pumped and ready for your run, while reducing your risk of injury.

Wear comfy training gear as you will be moving around.

Bring your own drinks and snacks if you need.
