Want to gain confidence to cycle more for transport? Then join Go Cycle Christchurch for this last of their free winter 'Short Ride For New Adult Cyclists'.

This ride is mostly around parks and along quieter public roads. This is a slow ride and we will stop along the way to share tips on how to have a safer and more enjoyable ride.

Number of participants is limited to around 10 new cyclists, so to secure a free spot:
Text - 021 0277 9250 or email - with name of participant(s), date of ride and whether you have no or some experience riding on roads.

More experienced cyclists are welcome to join without 'booking' a spot, but this ride is slow to accommodate new cyclists. This is a free ride for new adult cyclists. You only need your own bike and helmet and your away! You will be responsible for your own safety, so you need to be able to ride your bike and know about the general road code.

If the weather is decidedly nasty on the day this ride will be cancelled or postponed to Sunday 17 July. Please see Facebook event page (link above) for updates on the day.

Hope to see you and your friends or colleagues for a slow and enjoyable ride. Let's Go Cycle Christchurch! Please see Go Cycle Christchurch for more info about our volunteer driven initiative helping more adults use cycling for transport.
