About the Tutor:
Bongiwe Njoko grew up in rural South Africa where every occasion was marked with singing and dancing. From an early age, she was encouraged to take the role of 'music career', teaching the other children traditional song and dance and writing her own songs in the traditional style. Bongiwe now lives in Dunedin and is excited for this opportunity to share her music. "The flame of wanting to facilitate, and teach people to be able to know the South African Music and dance is burning in my heart" Bongiwe Njoko.
