After receiving glowing local and international album reviews, indie rock band Tablefox continue ‘Part 2.0’ of the ‘Objects’ tour at GalatosLive in Auckland.

Developing a reputation as a powerful and honest live act Tablefox celebrate the album tour with ‘New Reptiles’ and ‘Shakes’. All artists as featured on Radio Hauraki’s - Locals Only.

‘Something Better’, one of the many stand out singles from the album is currently receiving airplay on Radio Hauraki. “A perfect summer song with elements of folk/indie flavours and a rock undertone that a lot of kiwis love.”

New Reptiles release their second single, 'No Expectations', after their debut single, 'In America'. All tracks were recorded at York Street Studios in Auckland, produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Kimbra, Op Shop). After coming off the back of support for Everclear and their Sparkle & Fade Tour, New Reptiles jump on the scene with fresh songs and a new sound somewhere between slick pop and rock'n'roll.

Shakes are set to release their brand new single Tambour ine Gi r ls. The four-piece are already making waves despite this being their second ever single, with a grungy bass line and an old fashioned guitar solo to sink your teeth into. Classing themselves with the accurate indie-rock label, the influence of Brit-pop is unmistakeable in Tambourine Girls. The track was mixed by Nathan Sowter and mastered by Brian Lucey, known for his work with class acts such as The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, and The Shins.

Shakes have an edge to them that hooks you in from the first listen, balancing fuzzy guitars and rock ‘n roll drums with their trademark sharp lyricism. Their forte is in telling stories that need to be told and songs that need to be heard, packaged together in something that is instantly recognisable and equally danceable. The debut single ‘Hole In Your Pocket’ was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction, featuring on the Indie Charts throughout New Zealand, and the gritty pop rock nature of the track earned Shakes a spot on Tone Deaf’s Top 5 Bands You Need To Know list upon its release. Tambourine Girls is the second single to be released from the debut EP, set for release later in 2016.
