Week of Prayer for World Peace.

The Tauranga Moana Interfaith Council invites people of all faiths and no faith, all who have interest in peace, to join us in praying for world peace.

The international Week of Prayer for World Peace is coming soon.

We are sponsoring an interfaith event in support of the of this week. This will be held in The Village Hall at the Tauranga Historic Village, gathering from 6:30pm for a 7pm start followed by light refreshments afterward.

This will be the third such event we have held. They have allowed each of the faiths present to express their hope of World peace in a manner reflective of their faith. Last year this included music, prayers and talks on world peace.

Please join us for prayers from a number of faiths and faith groups here in Tauranga.

The Tauranga Moana Interfaith Council is a voluntary non-profit association of persons who collectively represent the diversity of religious and faith communities that exist within our wider society.
